More like things that make you go “wtf is wrong with people”…

So dig this, a while go in CA, I’m sitting at a boba shop minding my own business. I’m trying to decompress my brain and just relax. But I can’t help but over hear the next table’s conversation. Not trying to listen, people are just loud! So it’s two gals yapping about dreamy princess fairy tale shit, you know that kind of tone that you can hear from a mile away… goes like this:

gal1: (dreamy voice) “I just want to meet a guy that’s taller than me…”

gal2: (i couldn’t hear)

So I’m thinking, cuz I’m always thinkin about stupid shit…

1) this gal1 thinks she’s NOT superficial.
2) if a guy said something along these lines he get a response like: “pig, dick, jerk, male pig, etc”

Imagine this sitch:

I’m sitting there with a guy buddy and a girl is having boba by herself and overhears this:

me: (beer drinkin’ type guy tone, we have no dreamy voice) I just want to meet a girl with an ASS that’s SMALLER than mine.

friend: (his response doesn’t matter)….

She’d definitely cop attitude, get all huffy, think what a jerk, dick, pig, etc. Her comment was completely genuine! But my comment was “superficial”. But let’s examine the situation:

1. both equally superficial comments
2. one of these is controllable, the other is not

So if anything I’d say the girl’s comment was WORSE than the guy’s comment cuz there is nothing anyone can do about height!

So after that day my friend and I have a convo about the sitch where I tell her the story.

she says: were they cute?

I say: Let’s put it this way. I don’t think I passed the height test but she definitely did *NOT* pass the ASS test.

In summary: Girls always respond to situations with my favorite girl reaction, “he should love me for me”. Mmhmm, and you’d love him for him if he meets the minimum height requirement, money requirement, intelligence requirement, and six thousand other requirements that for the girl are of course just as non-superficial as the above mentioned issue.

I thought it was funny. And of course typical princess, fairy tale, dreamy BS. If this type of gal took a real honest look at her views, I can be fat (and whatever else) but he has to a perfect physique and be extremely intelligent, with an exceptional income, etc. *nice* My comment, “don’t break those glass slippers you’re tryin’ to walk in.”

Let’s just make sure this is clear, I’m just amazed by the extreme level of hypocrisy!! It’s just unmatched denial…

I’m not saying anyone’s perfect, but this is the same gal that sits at home alone and wonders why she’s home alone… heh
